Summer sun

Wow! We have been hoping for the sunshine and summer to start and it is finally here. We have had a week of really nice weather. It has been really hot, in the 80's and 90's for most of last week. This gives us the opportunity to be outside, which we love. We went to the zoo last Monday. Cassie remembered that Janni & Caleb had taken them there last summer. We enjoyed seeing the tiger, the monkeys, whales and their favorite was the walrus. The handlers were feeding them and cleaning their teeth. It was fun to see them so close.

We have been doing a lot of swimming too down at big Grandmas. I am starting to think the girls are part fish. They love to be in the water and swim very well with their water wings. Cass & Jess don't like to get out of the water even if their lips are blue! Abby has a small inflatable pool she sits in (thank you Joanie). Its a few inches deep, just perfect for her to splash in. We are working on our tans, the only one who seems to get burnt is me. We are looking forward to more swimming time and sunshine.

The past 6 years

Here is an overview of what we've been up to lately. Jer and I met at work, in August of 2001, and were married in February of 2002 (time goes so fast!). We lived in a travel trailer for the first year of married life before moving to Maple Valley. We bought our first home there and stayed a little over 2 years. We loved the area and still do. In that time we welcomed our first daughter into our lives. Cassie was born in November 2003. I had to work, and Cassie was lucky enough to be watched by Jer's mom. We found out we were pregnant in July of 04' and were blessed with Jessie, our second daughter in March of 05'. We moved from Maple Valley in November of that year to our current home in Auburn. We like it here, the houses are close, but we'd eventually like to buy a home on a little property. Abby our third daughter was born in Dec of 08'. Jer is working for Ground Effects and seems to enjoy his job. He is also the Elders Quorum President. He takes good care of us and is very busy. I am able to stay at home with the girls, I miss working sometimes, but I know that while my children are small home is where I need to be.
